Things To Do In Paris Las Vegas
As far as things to do in Las Vegas and places to stay on the strip, I think that Paris Las Vegas is an excellent choice. I’ve been going to Las Vegas for the last several years and have stayed and gambled at nearly all the hotels on the strip including the Venetian and the Bellagio. While the Paris Las Vegas is probably rated around a three star hotel, I like staying there more and more each time that I go.
Paris Las Vegas is part of the Harrah’s group of hotels so make sure that you get a Total Rewards card to help you take advantage of the comps you may earn. If you’re lucky, you might live near a Harrah’s casino and earn comps before you go as well. In any case, I am usually able to get a couple of nights for free and one for a slight discount. The room is not on the strip side at least when I get my room comped, but you can sometimes upgrade for a strip view.
Things To Do At Paris Las Vegas
When I go to Vegas, I like to stay for about three days. The first day I try and check in as early as possible. If I can get in I take a short nap, otherwise I check my luggage and head over to Le Cafe Ile St Louis to grab a bite to eat.
After I grab a bite to eat, I’ll head over Le Bar du Sport or over to Gustav’s Casino Bar for a few drinks and some video poker. I prefer Gustav’s because it’s right near the craps tables and I end up there more often not. I have to say that the dealer’s at the craps tables are enjoyable to talk to and I had some good fun there. One day there was a new dealer and he was pretty slow, but eveyone took it in stride and we had fun with it. The dealers when I was there are big fantasy football players and get together as a group to do there live draft so it’s my feeling that they enjoy spending time together and as such makes it more fun to play. After gambling for a while, if my rooms ready, I’ll go take a nap until later.
When I get done with my nap, I get cleaned up and head up to one of my favorite things to do in Las Vegas, and that is to have a drink at sunset in the Eiffel Tower Restaurant. If I feel like it, I’ll stay for dinner. The restaurant food is fine, but the view is what you go there for and the strip is great to see at night. The last time that I went I was a little disappointed that my sunset was blocked by another casino that was being built across the way.
If I don’t go up to the Eiffel tower first night, I’ll head over and to the Le Village Buffet to eat my dinner. I try and take it easy the first night and hang out and chill and hopefully I’ve won a little money. I then call it a night.
The next day, I’ll get up and either hit the buffet or the cafe again. Then, I’ll play some craps and some more video poker and in general just hang out until night time and go get cleaned up for some night time activities.
One of my favorite things to do in Las Vegas is to go to the Anthony Cools, Uncensored Hypnotist show. If you have a dirty mind and don’t mind the language, this adult themed show is hilarious and fun. I’ve been many times and always enjoy it. It’s probably the funniest show I have seen.
After I do that, it’s about ten thirty and that’s an excellent time to go do one of my favorite things to do in Las Vegas and that’s go to Mon Ami Gabi, have some dinner and sit outside. While it’s first come first served seating outside, it’s worth the wait to watch the Bellgio Las Vegas fountains. This is a must see and probably one of the best and most romantic things you can do in Las Vegas.

It’s time to party after that and so I head over to Le Cabaret for some live music. I saw an all girl group the last time which was pretty good although I forgot their name now, a problem for me, I’ll admit, and also talked to one of them after about how they went to Iraq to entertain the troops.
I might gamble some more or head over to Le Central for some last drinks and call it a night.
The next morning is a good time to sleep in and because the Paris Las Vegas is so close to the Venetian and the Bellagio, I like to go over to the Venetian to play some craps. I do this because I love to stay at the Venetian too so I go build up my play there and have been lucky enough to get some free offers over there too.
Later though, at night, I love to go across the street to the Fontana Bar at the Bellagio. They have a live band there as well as it’s great place to dance.
And those are the things I like to do when I go to Paris Las Vegas.
