The Imperial Palace Las Vegas deals something unique that I’ve never seen and that is their Dealertainers. Each day in the blackjack pit, the dealers are impersonators like Cher, Michael Jackson and Elvis. This really sets up there Legends In Concert which also features impersonators of past and present stars. You have to think that with the death of Michael Jackson, that we will have even more impersonators just like the Elvis ones. In fact, I predict a remake of Honeymoon in Vegas with the flying Jacksons..lol.
The other big draw at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Las Vegas is the Auto Collections. They have a collection of cars from famous people from the likes of Johnny Carson to Rita Hayworth. Both these attractions are big deals at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Personally, I’ve never stayed at this hotel because it looks a little older and I prefer a little more upscale hotel. The best feature of the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas is its location. It’s right across from Caesars in the center of the Las Vegas Strip. It’s part of Harrah’s so you might be able to score some free rooms if you play at a Harrah’s near where you live. I’m fortunate in that I have several riverboats where I live that are part of Harrah’s and that is one way to get some comp points generated for some free rooms either here or at one of their other partner hotel and casinos. I am more of a Venetian kind of clientelle. If you are like me then you won’t probably choose this hotel as a place to stay but it might be at least worth a visit to check out the Legends In Concert and the Auto Collections.
Other things to note at the Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino Las Vegas are the Karaoke Club with over 15,000 songs to choose from and if you’re a people watcher, Karaoke always provides good entertainment. And if dancing to a DJ in a bird cage is your thing, then the Imperial Palace provides the Rockhouse Bar & Nightclub.
I do have to say that there is a lot of action around this hotel as far as fun and drinking goes. I know that I was near here around St. Patricks day and it kind of reminded me of the movie Titanic and the way they party in steerage. It’s alot more fun partying but the accomodations aren’t as high society. So, I spent some time partying at O’Sheas and some of the other bars around here because it was just more fun and no one else was partying at my hotel. Kind of stuffy and uptight there and to beneath them to party, lol.
So other than the outwards appearance of the hotel, I can’t really say much about the accomodations which are probably fine. I can say that it would be a perfect place to stay on the St. Patty’s day because that is all that was really going on on the strip when I went then.
The Imperial Palace Las Vegas is a three star hotel with a good location on the strip and close to lots of things to do in Las Vegas.
